A driver ran off US 301 and crashed into a ditch in Brandywine recently. A 57-year-old man who was pronounced dead soon after the wreck, which occurred around 6am, according to Maryland State Police. Investigators are currently trying to determine the cause of the collision. At the time of the crash, he was the only occupant of the vehicle. The weather showed scattered showers at the time of the wreck, according to news reports. The victim worked for the public school district as an environmental inspector. “He was a great guy, man.
