According to news sources , a bill proposing the strengthening of fines for delaying car recalls is about to be considered by the Senate Commerce Committee tomorrow and is reportedly facing stiff opposition from automakers. Whipped Dairy Topping Recalled Due to Undeclared Allergen
In a news statement , Ohio Processors, Inc, in cooperation and in accordance with the guidelines of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), announced the voluntary recall of their Instantwhip B/C Topping because of the undeclared presence of milk, a known allergen. This recall was initiated after the company discovered that a supplier had provided the wrong packaging for the product. In a press statement , the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that they were opening a preliminary defect investigation for fuel gauges on 2003-2004 model year Infiniti M45 vehicles from Nissan.
